Operated multiple studio cameras, prepared studio sound equipment, and maintained and controlled lighting and teleprompter equipment as a studio camera operator. Provided field news coverage and technical support in both video and audio recording as well as live transmission.
Photographed various assignments, from live events and gatherings to location portraiture for two leading publications in Billings, MT. Worked directly with clients and provided full invoicing for services rendered.
Responsible for maintaining, preparing, and delivering film, video, sound, and lighting equipment for students in our film school, as well as for providing a friendly customer environment
As the Lighting Director for P.A.L., supervised the lighting design and deployment for two major summer concerts, and worked as an audio technician for various events, including the 2006 Yellowstone Valley Relay for Life which raised over $300,000 for the American Cancer Society. Also operated as an independent contractor as wedding DJ/MC responsible for coordination of wedding receptions and dances including technical aspects of the event.
Co-founded with a friend, Optryx was a web design, video production and graphic design company, specializing in creative, accessible media for education and web distribution. We also provided various technical support services, especially in audio/visual and home theater support.
Assisted with show set up and strike for traveling professional shows, including Cats, 42nd Street and Stomp. Worked in all departments (Sound, lighting, and carpentry)
